This guide covers how to create a Service Ticket from an existing property in Terial, fill in work order details, schedule it on the calendar, and notify your team via email.

Create a Service Ticket from an Existing Property
Note: To see how to create a Service Ticket for a NEW customer, see the Creating and Scheduling Service Tickets (New Customer) help article.
To create a Service Ticket, click "Create Service Ticket" within the customer database or directly within a Company, Property, or Contact page. Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click Create Service Ticket (note: we recommend you always start at the Property page).
Step 2: Select a Service Work Order Type from the dropdown. Fill in the remaining fields and any notes for the ticket (e.g., Crew Notes, Contact, Photos, Documents, etc.). Click Save. Note that Quoted and Preventative Maintenance work orders require a "Quoted Price" field.
Step 3: Click Schedule Work Order.
Step 4: Create the calendar appointment and confirm the team. Save and notify attendees via email.
