How to create, assign, and complete tasks in Terial's CRM and Production modules, including linking tasks to opportunities, touchpoints, and projects.

This guide covers how to create, assign, and complete tasks in Terial. Tasks can be created in both the CRM and Production modules, and are an effective way to track to-dos for opportunities in your pipeline or ongoing projects. Once created, tasks appear on the assignee's homepage, and all assignees receive an email notification on the day the task is due.

CRM Related Tasks

CRM tasks are an effective way to track your to-dos for opportunities in your pipeline. You can create tasks in two different ways, outlined below. Once created, tasks will appear on the assignee's homepage. You also have the option to notify the assignee via email at the time of task creation.

All assignees will receive an email notification on the day the task is due.

From an Opportunity

Step 1: Create a task directly from the opportunity by going to CRM → Opportunity → Select Opportunity → click the "+" button.

From the CRM Tasks Page

Step 1: To create a Task, go to CRM → Tasks, select "+ New Task".

Step 2: Fill in the relevant fields, including the task's due date and time, then select Save. If you choose to Notify Assignees, they will receive an email notification informing them that a task has been submitted. You can also link the task to an Opportunity or a Touchpoint for better tracking.

Marking a Task as Complete: To mark a Task as Complete, click on the check mark icon either on the home screen or under the Tasks tab.
