Setting Cost Codes for Time Cards
Users with Admin permissions can configure Time Card access for users and set up Cost Codes to track labor hours accurately across Production and Service work.
Setting Up a User for Time Cards
Step 1: Navigate to the Users tab in the Admin Panel. Click on the name of a User, then the three dots in the top-right corner to edit their profile.
Step 2: Enable access to Time Cards by toggling on one or more of the following options:
Time Cards for Service β for tracking time on Service Tickets
Time Cards for Production β for tracking time on Production Projects
General Time Cards β for non-job specific time like shop work, office work or trainings
Set the User's Labor Type and enter their Burden Rate, then click Save.
Setting Up Cost Codes
Step 1: Navigate to the Cost Codes tab in the Admin Panel. Click + New Cost Code to create a new entry.
Step 2: Add the Cost Code (letters or numbers), name it, and toggle whether it's available to the Production or Service module. Click Save.
