This guide covers how to create and manage Tags in Terial. Tags help you categorize and filter Companies, Properties, Tickets, and Projects for easier organization and reporting.

What are tags
Tags help you organize, filter, and sort records across Companies, Properties, CRM Opportunities, Tickets, and Projects. They’re fully customizable, making it easier to segment data, surface priority records, and keep your workflows tidy.
Tags are managed from the Admin Panel and can be applied anywhere tags are enabled.
How to create tags:
Step 1: Navigate to Admin → Tags and click + New Tag.
Step 2: Enter a name for your tag and select a color to make it easy to identify throughout the app.
Step 3: Click Save. Your tag is now available to use across supported records.
Using Tags Across Records
Once your tags are created, a Tags column will appear within:
Companies
Properties
CRM Opportunities
Tickets
You can assign one or multiple tags to a record and use the tag filter at the top of each table to quickly sort and narrow results.
Exporting Tags via CSV
When exporting data from CRM, Tickets or Projects, tags are included automatically as their own columns. The order of the tag columns in the CSV matches how they appear in Terial, making it easy to sort and filter in spreadsheets.
💡 Note: The first four tags appear as individual columns. Any additional tags are grouped into an Additional Tags column and separated by commas.
