This guide covers how to complete a Preventative Maintenance (PM) Service Ticket in the field using Terial's mobile app, including selecting sections, adding work items with before/after photos, recording time and materials, collecting signatures, and submitting for office review.

Step-by-Step Tutorial
Step 1: On your home screen, select the ticket that's assigned to you. Click "Start
Work Order" on tablet or mobile device.
Step 2: Add a Property Overview photo, click "Section" to select the area you're working on, then fill out the roof grades and any other required information for that section.
Step 3: Add any section photos you have relating to the PM work.
Step 4: Begin your Work Item Summary by adding a work item, then select from the drop down the work item. Select Okay.
Step 5: Mark the Fix Status, add the quantity, and place pins on the section. Repeat steps to complete work on multiple sections, if required.
Note: The Needs Attention fix status should generally be used for work items that fall outside the scope of the Preventative Maintenance (PM) visit.
Step 6: Add the Before and After Work Item Photos. Click on the photo to add captions. Select "Save and Complete".
Note: Needs Attention work items only support before photos ("Work Item Photos").
Step 7: Fill out Time Cards and Materials used.
Time Cards: Add one time card per technician (you'll have at least 2 time cards per ticket).
Materials Used: Select materials from a pre-set list. Write Crew Notes if a material is missing. Select Save & Complete.
Step 8: Collect On-Site Contact Signature. Use the notes field to add any additional context. The signer can use their finger for signature. Select Save & Complete.
Step 9: Send Ticket for Review by Office Staff. Once completed, click on the logo to take you back to the home page.
Congrats! You've completed a Preventative Maintenance Work Order.

💡 Troubleshoot: Can't edit a “completed” ticket? Save progress and navigate away from the page to the “Tickets Page.” Find the ticket you’re trying to edit and click on it from this tab. Click Edit on the specific section you are looking to update.
