Using Your Customer Portal

How to log in to your contractor's Customer Portal and use it to view properties, tickets, reports, and invoices, pay online, and request service.

Written by Tania Grebennik

Your roofing contractor uses Terial to manage your service work, and the Customer Portal is your own login to see it all in one place. From the portal, you can check on your properties, follow your service tickets, download reports, view and pay invoices, and request service.

Logging In

Step 1: Open the portal link your contractor shared with you. It will look something like app.terial.com/portal/company-name. Bookmark it so it is easy to find next time.

Step 2: Enter your email address and password, then click Login. If you received a welcome email, use the link in that email to set your password first.

Note: Always log in through your contractor's portal link. If you work with more than one contractor that uses Terial, you can use the same email address for each of their portals. Just log in through each contractor's own link.

Forgot Your Password?

Click Reset password on the login page and follow the instructions in the email you receive.

Your Homepage

After you log in, your homepage shows your company and your contractor, along with a quick summary of your account:

  • Active Tickets: how many service tickets are currently open

  • Properties: how many properties you can see in the portal

  • Outstanding Balance: the total you currently owe across your invoices

  • Total Spend YTD: how much you have spent so far this year

Below the summary, use the Properties, Tickets, Ticket Requests, and Invoices tabs to see the details.

Viewing Your Properties

The Properties tab lists each property your contractor has shared with you. Click a property name to see its details, including a satellite view of the property.

Following Your Tickets and Reports

The Tickets tab shows each service ticket for your properties, along with its current status and scheduled date, so you always know where your work stands.

When your contractor finishes a report and sends it to you, the report also appears in the portal. Download the PDF anytime instead of searching for the original email.

Viewing and Paying Invoices

The Invoices tab lists the invoices your contractor has sent you, with the payment status, ticket, property, invoice and due dates, total, and outstanding balance for each one.

  • Click the PDF icon to download a copy of the invoice.

  • Click Pay Now to pay the invoice online.

Note: If you do not see a Pay Now button, your contractor does not take online payments through the portal. Reach out to them directly to arrange payment.

Requesting Service

Step 1: Click New Ticket Request at the top of the page.

Step 2: Choose the property, describe what you need in the notes, and add photos of the issue if you have them.

Step 3: Submit the request. Your contractor is notified right away.

You can check on your request anytime in the Ticket Requests tab, and you will receive an email once your contractor has reviewed it. Approved requests become service tickets and show up in your Tickets tab.

Pro Tip: Teammates at your company who have access to the same properties can see each other's ticket requests, which helps avoid duplicate requests for the same issue.

Don't See Something?

Your contractor decides which properties and information are shared in the portal. If a property, ticket, invoice, or report you expect is missing, reach out to your contractor directly.
